Potomac Elementary’s 5th grade drama club held their spring musical Annie, Jr. on April 28 and 29.
“Its a condensed version, for a younger audience,” said Pam Settlage, musical director for the show. This version was shorter and designed to appeal to younger audiences.
About 45 students participated in some way in the production, Settlage said. “Our goal for this program was not for there to be stars, but for anybody that wanted to be a part of this got a chance to,” she said.
The production was able to raise more than $500 which will be used to fund a graduation party for the fifth grade class.
