Fairfax Symphony Season Finale. 8 p.m., at the Concert Hall of George Mason University Center for the Arts. Pedals for Progress Bicycle Donation. Bring bikes that are in repairable condition, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church in the parking lot, 1205 Madison Blvd., McLean. The bicycles are sent overseas to developing countries to be repaired and distributed to poor working adults to provide reliable transportation for their employment. It costs $30 to collect, process, ship and redistribute each bicycle. A donation toward shipping costs is necessary, $10 suggested minimum. Working portable sewing machines and soccer and baseball equipment are also accepted, as are tools for the overseas shops. This event is sponsored by the Potomac School. The Swanns will be bringing their mall tour to Tysons Corner Center, Saturday, May 22, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This group is composed of Harvey Swann Sr. and seven of his children.
