<sh>Della Onks Bosker

<bt>Della Onks Bosker, 52, of Woodbridge, passed away Oct. 26 at her residence after a long illness. Bosker attended Edison High School in Alexandria, and was a 1975 graduate of Longwood College.

She is survived by her husband, David Bosker; daughter, Christine Li of Ashburn; father, David Onks Sr. of Stafford; brothers, David Onks Jr. of Stafford and Dana Onks of Fairfax. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Bosker was preceded in death by her mother, June Onks.

A graveside service for Della Bosker was held Friday, Oct. 29, at the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery in King George, Va.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central Virginia Chapter 2104 West Laburnum Ave., Suite 102, Richmond, VA 23227.

<sh>Shirley Mae Hawkinson

<bt>Shirley Mae Hawkinson, 74, died on Oct. 23 of complications of diabetes in San Antonio, Texas. Hawkinson was born and grew up in Sheboygan, Wis. She attended the University of Wisconsin at Stout. She was a member of St. George Episcopal Church in San Antonio, where she had lived since 1976. She was a resident of the Alexandria area for 10 years preceding that.

She is survived by her six children, David Hawkinson of San Antonio; Brian Hawkinson of Mount Vernon; Kathryn Iacone of Burke; Virginia Hines of El Cajon, Calif.; Susan Hawkinson of Schertz, Texas; and Nancy Patterson of San Antonio, Texas; and her seven grandchildren.

A private memorial service for family will be held in Mount Vernon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, at www.diabetes.org.

<sh>June Marie Ranck Shrum Styler

<bt>June Marie Ranck Shrum Styler, 43, of Ashburn, died Oct. 27 of breast cancer at Loudoun Hospital Center.

Styler was born April 3, 1961 in Harrisburg, Pa., to Wilma E. Ranck and the late John Robert Ranck. She was a 1979 graduate of Fort Hunt High School, Alexandria.

Styler was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ashburn, and had served as president of the parent-teacher organization at Bellmont Middle School.

Styler is survived by her mother, now of Alexandria; husband, Brent Arlyn Styler; ex-husband, Timmy Edward Shrum; son, Daniel Thomas Shrum of Ashburn; six stepchildren; and brothers, Jay Ranck of Alexandria; Col. John Ranck Jr. of Andrews Air Force Base, Md.; and Jeffrey Ranck of Jacksonville, Fla.

Graveside services will be held Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., at Arlington National Cemetary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American cancer Society, Virginia Division, 124 Park St. S.E., Vienna, VA, 22180.
