<sh>Cab Driver Robbed

<bt>On Tuesday, Oct. 12, around 12:40 a.m., a 29-year-old Hybla Valley area man was operating a cab on Huntington Avenue when he picked up a man. Once in the cab, the suspect displayed a handgun and forced the cab driver to drive to the 3000 block of Furman Lane. The suspect took cash from the cab driver and fled the area on foot.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 225 pounds, wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and a black skull cap.

<sh>Man Robbed at Gunpoint

<bt>On Monday, Oct. 11, around 12 a.m., a 47-year-old Lorton area man was walking in the 7700 block of Gunston Plaza Drive when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim turned over cash and some personal items, and the two suspects fled the area on foot.

The first suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds, wearing a black top and pants. The second suspect is described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and wearing a white t-shirt.

<sh>Man Robbed in Huntington Area.

<bt>On Sunday, Oct. 10, around 9:45 p.m., a 25-year-old Alexandria area man was exiting his vehicle in the 2200 block of Farrington Avenue, when he was approached by three men. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money. All three suspects took money and personal property from the victim and then fled on foot eastbound on Farrington Avenue.

The first suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, wearing a black jersey with a red stripe, and a black stocking cap. The second suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. The third suspect was described as black but no further information was available

<sh>Man Victim of Attempted Robbery

<bt>On Wednesday, Oct. 6, around 9:40 p.m., a 32-year-old man was painting the inside of his house in the 3900 block of Buckman Road in the Hybla Valley area. The victim had left a door open to allow paint fumes to escape, and a man entered the house, displayed a hand gun and demanded money from the victim. When the victim stated that he had no money, the suspect left the house and proceeded north on Buckman Road.

The suspect is described as black, in his 20s, tall with a thin build, and wearing blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt with a hood.
