<lst>Bethel United Church of Christ launched a new worship schedule. Under the new schedule, "Worship! Out of the Box" is held at 9 a.m. every Sunday, a more informal, discussion-based service. Bazaar/Flea Market. Arlington Forest United Methodist Church holds a Flea Market and Bazaar Saturday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will feature a bake sale, silent auction, special treasures, house wares, jewelry, games, toys and lunch. Bazaar. St. Agnes Catholic Church Parish Center will hold a bazaar Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The bazaar will feature Christmas gifts, decorations, knit and crochet, used books, white elephants, a quilt and money doll raffle, a bake sale and lunch. St. Agnes is located at 1914 N. Randolph St., Arlington.

Family Shabbat Service. Rabbi Gilah Langner leads a family Shabbat service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at Kol Ami Northern VA Reconstructionist Community, Arlington. At 11 a.m. children will play with adult supervision and parents can enjoy a brief study of the Torah parsha of the week. We will come together at 11:30 a.m. for an oneg. The Rev. Marta Valentín Chase is the new interim team minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington. She began her one-year term on Aug. 15, and works with team ministers the Rev. Michael McGee and the Rev. Linda Olson Peebles. Valentín Chase most recently served as program coordinator for the Unitarian Universalist Association's Identity-Based Ministries staff group.
