Hybla Valley Man Held

Girlfriend implicated in his wife’s stabbing.

Eric Wolf was taken into custody last weekend by Fairfax County Police; he is being held on a million dollar bond. According to the Fairfax County Public Information Office, the state of Wisconsin is working on extraditing him back to that state where he resided with his family before he was reassigned to this area as a Navy ceremonial guard. He was advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer on Sept. 16 and introduced to members of the Navy Band, who are temporarily co-located with the guard.

According to Lt. John Morrisey, who works for the sheriff’s office in Kenosha County, Wisc., Wolf’s girlfriend, Kristen Warnakulasuriya, is charged with attempted first-degree homicide with a conspiracy enhancement.

Allegedly, she took a steak knife from her mother’s home in Kenosha County, Wisc., and went to the home of Wolf’s wife, Rachel J. Wolf. Warnakulasuriya allegedly stabbed Rachel Wolf in the back and then left.

Rachel Wolf survived her injuries and was able to provide the sheriff’s office with information about her attacker. She was released from the hospital after a brief stay.

Warnakulasuriya is being held on a half-million dollar cash bond.
