The ninth annual Walk for the Future was held last Saturday morning at Minnie Howard Ninth Grade Center on West Braddock Road in Alexandria. The Walk for the Future is sponsored by the Project Discovery Advisory Board. Project Discovery enables Alexandria students to become the first members of their families to achieve college and or technical school education. College representatives were available throughout the morning providing information and answering questions to the students.
