<lst>Looking for some spooky holiday haunts? The following lists some local Halloween-themed events:

Haunted Park. Vienna Parks and Recreation Department sponsors "Haunting in the Park," a guided tour through Vienna's haunted Glyndon Park, on Friday, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Tickets are $3 and must be purchased in advanced at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St., S.E. Halloween Fun Fair. On Saturday, Oct. 30, from 4-7 p.m., at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1545 Chain Bridge Road, McLean. Come in costume, play games, make crafts and taste treats. All are welcome. Attendees can bring a free-will offering of canned good to support Share. For more information, call 703-356-5442.

Halloween Party. The Town of Vienna sponsors its annual Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry St., S.E. Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to attend and are encouraged to come in costume. Free. For more information, call 703-255-6360.

Free Cab Rides. As a means of making area roadways a little safer this Halloween, free cab rides will be offered to would-be drunk drivers throughout Northern Virginia on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Call the SoberRide phone number at 1-800-200-TAXI and be afforded a no-cost (up to $50) safe ride home.
