Boys and girls are invited to join the Royal Ranger and Missionette clubs this fall, sponsored by Harvest Church. Clubs are open to 3-years-olds through children in the sixth grade, and meet on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m., at the church. T.O.T. Preschool, a ministry of Sydenstricker United Methodist Church, begins its 17th year of operation in September. Body and Soul aerobics and strength training classes begin on Friday Sept. 10. Classes meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-10:30 a.m., at Burke Community Church, 9990 Old Keene Mill Road. A class will also start on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 7:45 a.m., at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 5114 Twinbrook Road. The fall session runs for 12 weeks. Messiah Methodist Church celebrates its 40th anniversary reunion on Sunday, Sept. 12. Bishop Ray W. Chamberlain Jr. will speak at the worship services.
