Six Arlington senior centers will offer the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Active for Life program beginning in September. The free motivational program is a 20-week course designed for seniors, 50 and above, who don’t like to exercise. The curriculum is called, “Active Living Every Day" and will be conducted by Sharlene P. Hirsch, EdD, director, Active for Life Center of the National Capital Region. Orientation meetings will be held Sept. 15 at Langston-Brown and Walter Reed; Sept. 21 at Madison; Sept. 22 at Lee; and Sept. 28 at Culpepper Garden.
