The Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Department has scheduled an Introduction to Capnography; Introduction to 12 Lead EKG course at the Loudoun County Training Division, Sunday, May 1, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Capnography; 1-5 p.m., 12 Lead. Registration due by Friday, April 8. These two programs are designed to provide an introduction to capnography and to 12 lead interpretation. These programs are open to CT/I/P providers. The Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Department has scheduled a pediatric advanced life support (P.A.L.S.) course at the Loudoun County Training Division, April 23-24, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Registration due by Friday, April 8. Course is designed to prepare ALS providers to identify and treat cardiopulmonary arrest and common conditions that may lead to cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. Preschool yoga classes are now being offered at the Sterling Community Center, 120 Enterprise St. Classes are available on Wednesdays from 10-10:45 a.m. for 4- to 6-year-olds through April. The class will combine simple yoga poses with songs, stories and games. Fee: $30. The Loudoun Cooperative Extension is offering a ServSafe Sanitation Program to restaurant food managers or others involved in food handling and preparation. The certification course includes instruction on the microworld, contamination and food borne illness, purchasing and receiving safe foods, food storage, protection food in preparation and service, employee sanitation training, organizing a cleaning program, pest control, accident prevention and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. * Power Kids, Mondays and Wednesdays, from 4-5 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. Includes a fitness professional to work with children to set up an individualized weight control/reduction nutrition program and fitness routine.

* Coping in Stressful Times. Learn how to develop practical skills for reducing stress, complete a personal plan and receive information about the warning signs of serious stress. Loudoun Hospital Center's Birthing Inn is offering up to 24 classes on how to prepare for childbirth, as well as how to care for newborns. Classes include breastfeeding, cesarean section preparation, childbirth preparation, dad's group, infant CPR, infant massage, "Let's Talk Babies," tour of the Birthing Inn, yoga for pregnancy, safe sitter babysitting course, moms and older babies support, new moms support group, newborn care, parenting Survival skills, refresher childbirth preparation, sibling class, sleep seminar, toddler talk and yoga for mommies and babies. NotJustShakespeare. NotJustShakespeare, an amateur theater group based in Leesburg, was founded for the purpose of "bringing the beauty and majesty of Shakespeare to audiences near and far, performed in an Elizabethan setting."
