UCM and Women's Center Partner

Local classes will serve Southeastern Fairfax County

The resources of The Women’s Center will become more accessible this month. Thanks to the efforts of Cheri Zeman, United Community Ministries (UCM) Executive Director and Bonnie Rabichow, Women’s Center Educational Programs Manager, a partnership has been formed between the two organizations. Workshops will commence this spring at UCM’s offices on Fordson Road.

Both groups feel that this partnership will bring much needed educational programs and services to women and their families living in southeastern Fairfax County.

“This is the beginning of our relationship with UCM and we’re excited to be able to offer programs in the South County. We’re working with UCM to expand the program based on the needs of the population,” Rabichow said.

For years, The Women's Center has provided counseling, education and information resources to women and families regardless of ability to pay. UCM’s relationship with the Women’s Center will further strengthen and diversify the important services for women and families that address their specific physical, emotional and psychological needs.
