Olde Creek PTA, staff, students and community members recently conducted a fund-raiser to benefit the Samaritan Children’s Home in Sri Lanka. Those in attendance had the chance to participate in a variety of activities, including face painting, button/magnet making, karaoke, sundae making, posing for photos on a Harley motorcycle and staff vs. student basketball games. Current and former Olde Creek Elementary students and the Olde Creek PTA raised $5,718.97 to send to Samaritan Children’s Home to help rebuild their orphanage in Sri Lanka.
