Vienna Assembly of God is sponsoring a Vacation Bible School, "Mega Sports Camp," which offers skill training for basketball, soccer or cheerleading along with spiritual formation, Aug. 15-19, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Cost of the camp is $50, and it will take place at Glyndon Park, 300 Glyndon St., N.E., Vienna. The New Union Baptist Church, located at 205 Pleasant St., Vienna, offers Sunday School at 9:30 a.m., Worship service at 11 a.m., and Communion each second Sunday at 11 a.m. In partnership with the Fairfax NAACP Youth Council, the church sponsors summer education sessions to help community youth prepare for final exams, assessment preparation, college prep and summer school activities.
