Danielle Kimble of Reston was selected to the Union College, ECAC Division I, Women's Ice Hockey Team. She was awarded a partial academic scholarship to Union and tried out for the hockey team as a walk-on.
A 2005 graduate of Langley High School, Kimble played all four years as a goaltender for the Langley Varsity Ice Hockey Club team. She was also a member of the Washington Pride girls travel team for two years and prior to that she was a goaltender for the Reston Raiders girls and boys travel teams.
