Several members of the Arlington Office of Weichert, Realtors recently took part in an on-air membership drive for WETA Channel 26, helping to raise $27,500 for the station. Eleven Arlington Office staff members, sales associates and friends answered phones to collect donations during the membership drive, which provides necessary funding for WETA, a nonprofit public broadcaster and producer. The Weichert representatives answering phones at the drive were: Stephen Collins, Will Grothman, David Grzelak, Coral Gundlach, Dorothy Johnson, Brace Kennedy, Garnet Baughman-Robins, Lydia Sabin, Susan Shepard-Siple, Suzanne Sykes and Valerie Wilkinson.

West Village of Shirlington, a 528-unit community, is undergoing a total renovation and condo conversion. The restoration of these all-brick buildings includes new finishes, fixtures and stainless steel appliances; new plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems; hardwood floors and a new resident clubhouse.
