One of Newberry Condominiums' three playgrounds, or "tot lots," was saved from relocation or removal at the last association meeting by a 37-29 vote.
Neighbors had complained about teenagers loitering around the playground, making noise, leaving trash and causing trouble, said manager Ed Bonacic.
"It's typical of all tot lots," Bonacic said. "Everyone wants them, but nobody wants them in their backyard."
The tot lot in question is located at the corner of Holborn Court and Temple Court. Newberry Condominiums, located off Greenthorn Avenue in Sterling, has 595 units.
