Homes Tour. The fourth annual Southeast Vienna Home Tour takes place from 1-4 p.m. Tour four unique and beautiful homes — 8620 McHenry St., 2449 Fardale St., 101 Battle St., S.E., and 708 Glyndon St., S.E. Cost to tour all of the homes is $15, and tickets may be purchased at any of the four homes the day of the tour. Proceeds benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Cunningham Park Elementary School and Vienna Elementary School. Please no children under 12.

Dole Visits. Former U.S. Sen. Bob Dole visits Borders at Tysons Corner at 1 p.m., to discuss and sign the memoir of his three-year battle to recover from debilitating injuries he sustained on the battlefield in World War II. Templin Jr., NVCC president, will preside over the commencement exercises, and the keynote address will be delivered by Timothy J. Sullivan, president of the College of William & Mary.
