The Bailey Team Real Estate is pleased to welcome Tracy Wingate as their newest sales associate. Tracy is a native of Ohio, but has lived in Virginia for more than 11 years. An experienced Realtor, she balances work and family with her husband of 12 years and two young sons. The Bailey Team is a full service brokerage serving all of Northern Virginia.

National Realty announces the affiliation of the following real estate agents with their firm: Chad Moore, Elena Muncaciu, Jackie Crilley, Kwi Keating, Lea Johannes, Marcus Brown, Verinder Kaur, Wanda Gibbons, Heidi Cherry, Clint Henderson, Eugenio Lucini and Rene Vega.

Kaur and Vega are already top sales agents in the company, even though brand new in real estate. Cherry, who has expertise in a related field, is already training the other agents. Keating is serious about learning the business from more experience agents and is working with top producer Tim Johnson as her mentor. All the new agents are attending training sessions, and learning about real estate from the firm's broker and leading real estate agents.

Bev Feitshans, branch manager of Weichert Realtors’ Reston Office, announces that several sales associates have been honored for their achievements in July.

Suzanne Gaibler was named top producer for leading the office in dollar volume, revenue units, listings and listings sold. She is a member of the Chairman of the Board Elite Club and the Chairman’s Gold Club, the latter signifying a high level of sales financed through Weichert Financial. Anne Lefevere was named top seller for the second month in a row. She is a member of the Chairman of the Board Elite Club and the President’s Gold Club.

Wes Foster, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of The Long & Foster Companies, announces that he will donate $400,000 to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts taking place along the Gulf Coast of the United States.

Foster pledged an immediate $200,000 and has asked that the company’s agents and staff match the initial $200,000 corporate contribution by sending checks to the American Red Cross, www.redcross.org, The Salvation Army, www1.salvationarmy.org or any other reputable relief organization. Foster expects that Long & Foster’s contribution to the relief efforts will surpass $400,000.

The Long & Foster Companies reported August 2005 total sales of $6.4 billion for the month, an increase of 28 percent over August 2004. It was the best August in the company’s 37-year history.

The numbers include Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., with $4.2 billion in sales, up 22 percent on 11,335 property transactions; Prosperity Mortgage, the firm’s mortgage affiliate, reported a record $478 million in volume of business, an increase of 66 percent over the previous year; Long & Foster Insurance, $382 million, up 36 percent; and Mid-States Title $1.4 billion for the month, up 34 percent over the previous August.

The Reston office was the second-ranked sales office in the Northern Virginia region for August, based on sales volume with $65 million. The McLean office was first with $70 million and Arlington was third with $60 million.

The Weichert Family of Companies announced Sept. 15 that it has contributed $1.316 million to the American Red Cross to support relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The total figure resulted from the donations of sales associates and employees throughout the Weichert Family of Companies and additional dollar-for-dollar matching provided by Jim Weichert, founder and president of Weichert Realtors.
