<cal2>Kids R First Valentine gift wrap event will take place at the Appalachian Spring in the Reston Town Center. Cost is a donation to Kids R First, a nonprofit organization helping needy students in Fairfax and Loudoun county schools located in the Dulles corridor and a 2005 Best of Reston honoree. The wrapping schedule is Saturday, Feb. 11, noon-6 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 12, noon-4 p.m.; Monday, Feb. 13, noon-6 p.m.; and Tuesday, Feb. 14, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

<cal2>Old-time Valentine's Dance. Bluemont's series of community dances continues with an old-time Valentine Dance at the Purcellville Skating Rink in Purcellville featuring music by House Red and figure calling by Louie Cromartie. The dance is from 8-11 p.m. and Bluemont offers a beginners workshop at 7:30 p.m. before the dance starts. Admission is $8 per person; $6 for Bluemont Friends, students and seniors. To celebrate its third season in Purcellville, Bluemont is offering a special rate to Purcellville residents: $5 per person or $10 dollars per family.
