Two People Indicted by Grand Jury

A Fairfax County grand jury indicted two local people last Tuesday, Jan. 17. They are Neil Lederman and Nakasha Warren, both of Centreville.

* Lederman: In April 2005, an Annandale mortgage company received a copy of the loan approval for a Centreville man planning to buy a home in Virginia Run for $775,000. But according to Fairfax County police, the man not only worked for that company, but allegedly approved his own loan.

So on Sept. 30 they charged that man — Neil Lederman, 50, of 14654 Seasons Drive — with forgery. And now that he's been indicted, he's slated for a March 8 jury trial.

* Warren: Police arrested Nakasha T. Warren, 28, of 14486 Four Chimney Drive in the Newgate community, along with two others, on drug charges. Detectives from the Organized Crime Division had reportedly developed information that the trio was distributing narcotics in the area of Lee Highway and Stone Road in Centreville.

After a traffic stop of their vehicle at the Route 29/Stone Road intersection, on Oct. 27, police charged all three with distribution of cocaine. Following Warren's indictment last week, she's scheduled to enter a plea, Feb. 6, in Circuit Court.
