Board of Supervisors Vice Chairman Bruce E. Tulloch (R-Potomac) has secured more than $7,500 in donations for the Potomac Falls Athletic Booster Club. The donations came from Greenvest L.C., Courtland Farms and Bowman Consulting, all Loudoun County businesses. A check presentation was held at Potomac Falls High School July 13.

Mark Pond accepted the donations on behalf of the Potomac Falls Athletic Booster Club. On hand to present the checks were Jim Duszynski, CEO of Greenvest L.C., Keith Compton of Courtland Farms and Pat Quante of Bowman Consulting. \

High-school students and their families are invited to participate in Virginia Private College Week from Monday, July 31-Saturday, Aug. 5. Students who visit three colleges during the week will receive special application fee waivers, making it possible to apply to any three institutions for free.

Campus tours during Private College Week may include informational sessions on how to apply for admission and financial aid. Sessions at most colleges will be offered at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at 9 a.m., Saturday, exceptions are noted on www.privatecollegeweek.org.
