An air of excitement is ever present in the Thomas A. Edison Theater Department as the students prepare for the approaching Spring Break trip to London. Previously, Edison Drama has frequented New York in order to sample only the best of Broadway, and students look forward to similar adventures in London this year. “New York was so much fun, that when Ms. Passey announced the London trip, I signed up right away,” said enthusiastic sophomore Stacey Sulko.
Nineteen students and eleven adults will create the jolly group who will soon be dashing through the streets of London. The nine-day trip has been organized by EF Educational Tours. “It was genuinely relieving to have a company handle the arrangements for our trip this year. Now I can relax and enjoy being in London,” said Alyssa Passey, Edison’s drama director and teacher. She isn’t the only one looking forward to the trip. Senior Will Hicks said, “I really hope we get to see the Queen musical, ‘We Will Rock You’!”
