Saturday/May 13

Amy High Latin Scholarship Fund-raiser. 3-7 p.m. at Lyles-Crouch Traditional Academy, 500 S. Saint Asaph St. Activities for children and entertainment, silent auction. Funds benefit scholarship for Latin teachers to attend classes in Rome, in memory of Amy High.

Teddy Bear Tea. The Black History Museum will host a Teddy Bear Tea for children from 5 to 10 years old. Special manners and etiquette program caters to the young. Parents or caregivers must accompany children for the entire program. Reservations are required. $18 per person. Payment must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday May 5. Call 703-838-4356. Sunday/May 21

St. Mary’s Spring Fling. 16th annual event at St. Mary’s School, 400 Green St., 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Family Fun: carnival rides, kid crafts, games, flea market, book sales, music and food. Daimler Chrysler “Drive for Kids” will donate $10 to the school for each test drive, so take a spin behind the wheel and raise money for the school.
