The YMCA Loudoun County is holding a summer camp early bird registration, Wednesday, May 31, at the YMCA office, 6 Fairfax St., S.E., Leesburg, from 5-8 p.m. The membership fee will be waived bt attending and registering a child for camp. Ashburn Presbyterian Church will be having a Fiesta Bible school. The program will provide fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for children ages 4 to fifth-grade. Each day includes songs, games, Bible adventures, snacks and music. Additionally, participants will join nearly a million children in North America and take part in a hands-on mission project that will reach needy children in Latin American countries.

Shenandoah UniversityÕs Harry F. Byrd Jr. School of Business entrepreneurship program summer boot camp, a program aimed at helping young entrepreneurs, seeks high-school participants for the inaugural program this summer on the universityÕs main campus.

The entrepreneurship boot camp, June 26-July 1, is designed to help young entrepreneurs assess their technical and business skills and evaluate whether they might be ready and able to start their own ventures.

The program is open to rising high-school juniors and seniors as well as recent high-school graduates accepted for admission to Shenandoah University.

Includes lectures, reading, field experience, research and both individual and group projects. Participants will be awarded three college credits, covering the first course in SUÕs entrepreneurship program, ÒIntroduction to Entrepreneurship.Ó

Ten participants will be chosen for the entrepreneurship boot camp through an application and screening process. Selected participants will attend the boot camp free of charge, including on-campus housing, meals and field trips.

Chronicles of Farmia: 4-H Camp, July 10-14 and July 31-Aug. 4, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Co-sponsored by the Heritage Farm Museum and the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service 4-H program and hosted by the Museum and Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve. Camp is designed to encourage campers to recognize the interdependence of agriculture, the environment and human needs and to work cooperatively to promote informed consumer choices and sustainable agricultural practices. Campers will utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a curriculum that is based on the national Food, Land and People education initiative and on the Standards of Learning for Virginia. Include hands-on live-animal programs, interactive lessons on tools and tractors and a special session on gardening for children. Galilee United Methodist Church will be holding the Fiesta Vacation Bible School, July 10-14, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon, for 3-year-olds (by Sept. 30, 2005) through fifth graders. The Audubon Naturalist SocietyÕs Rust Nature Sanctuary in Leesburg will offer summer nature camps for children ages prekindergarten through sixth grade. Choose from a lineup of camps that begin July 17 and run through Aug. 25. The camps focus on nature and are designed to foster environmental awareness and expand natural and cultural knowledge. Ashburn Presbyterian Church is sponsoring its 7th annual Christian musical theater mission camp.

The camp is open to all youth in the community ages 11-16, from July 24-28, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Snacks and lunch will be provided daily. Cost per student $125.

The theme is "Amazing Grace" and is a race from Genesis to Revelation in the Bible. Participants will study the Bible, participate in scavenger hunts, learn skits and songs. The participants will also give a performance Friday, July 28, in the church's sanctuary. This performance is for the community, congregation and parents. A dessert fellowship will follow the performance.

The Loudoun Museum will be holding a Loudoun Heritage Super Camp, at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve, Monday-Friday, July 24-28, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., for ages 8-12 years. Snacks and materials provided. Bring a sack lunch. Cost: $300. Reservations required.

Super Camp covers several important historical events Ñ French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War II Ñ and campers learn first hand how these events affected the lives of the people living in Loudoun County. Heritage camp utilizes activities, games, crafts, costumed interpreters, hands-on object exploration, and professional speakers to bring history alive. All campers will work on basic basketball, soccer and volleyball skills and each participant can choose one of these sports for more advanced instruction. There are no tryouts, every participant is encouraged to choose what he or she wants to do. Cost is $150 per child.
