<sh>Holiday Tree Lighting and Reindog Parade

<bt>The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will host its annual McLean Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony Thursday, Nov. 30, at 5:30 p.m. The McLean Tree is located at the intersection of Chain Bridge Road and Old Chain Bridge Road in downtown McLean. Dranesville District Supervisor Joan DuBois will do the honor of flipping the switch, and the McLean High School Madrigals will perform songs of the season.

In addition, the Chamber will host its 10th annual "Reindog Parade" on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 8-9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Langley Shopping Center in McLean, 1390 Chain Bridge Road. Dog-owners can dress their pets in holiday gear and enter them into the parade to win a variety of prizes. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and a registration fee of two cans of dog food (for donation to a local shelter) is required.
