Fairfax County Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will observe Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23, with displays at the Fairfax Regional Library and Patrick Henry Public Library in Vienna commemorating the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. The official observance was created in 1956 as a celebration of the document itself and the Founding Fathers, who struggled to balance a limited government with the rights, privileges and responsibilities of American citizenship.
