A summer camp for middle-school children at the Medical Education Campus (MEC) of Northern Virginia Community College has received three grants from the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association. The grants, which total over $20,000, will help defray the operational costs of the camp, which provides attendees with an up-close look at a workday in a variety of medical professions.

Birth Mother's Support Group. Meets weekly in Northern Virginia. It is for any woman who has ever placed a child in adoption and would like to meet with others who have done the same.
