A ServSafe Food Sanitation Course will be taught Tuesday, Aug. 14, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Loudoun Extension Office in Leesburg. This course was developed by The Education Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. After completion of the course, a one-hour certification exam is administered and certification is awarded by the National Restaurant Association to those passing the exam. The Loudoun County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will offer a Virginia Gardener Shortcourse. The Shortcourse is a condensed version of the training that Trainees who are new members of the Master Gardener Volunteer program receive.
