Andy’s Parties
<bt>On Sunday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Andy’s Parties will host an Open House at its Great Falls Village Center location, 758 Walker Rd., 2nd floor. The following demonstrations will be given at the event: Baby Signs By Jenny at 10:30 a.m., a magic show with Frank Culler at 11 a.m., “Abrakadoodle” at 1 p.m. and Kaleidoscope Pirates On the High Seas Adventure at 2 p.m. Throughout the day there will be open play in the Great Playroom, cotton candy and raffles for discounts on programs. At Community Center
<bt>The Fairfax County League of Women Voters invites members and guests to join them on Monday, Sept. 10, at 12:30 p.m. at the McLean Community Center to voice their opinions and concerns on the issue of affordable housing.
Many working families are being priced out of the Fairfax County area. Traffic, quality of life, and community diversity are affected as people move farther from their jobs to seek housing they can afford.
