Financial Executives International, the leading professional association for CFOs, controllers and treasurers, announced the election of a new slate of leadership. Michael J. Malesardi will serve as FEI North Atlantic Area Director. Malesardi is vice president, financial projects and policies, The AES Corporation. A resident of Great Falls and a member of the District of Columbia chapter since 1992, Malesardi has held various leadership positions within FEI on both the national and local levels. Nationally he has been a member of the National Chapter Leadership Council, and has served as Treasurer, Secretary, and most recently Chapter President 2006-2007 on the local level, for the District of Columbia chapter.
