Wellspring Church worships this Sunday with the spirited leadership of Myra Flemister, a member of Wellspring and an experienced Bible study and retreat leader throughout Northern Virginia.

Wellspring meets at 10 a.m., Centreville Firehouse #17, 5856 Old Centreville Road. Sunday School for children meets during the worship hour. Following worship is a fellowship hour with fair trade coffee and treats.

Wellspring has two house-groups, and welcomes visitors to participate. The Arts and Spirituality group meets on Sunday afternoons, and a Living the Questions group meets in the evening. Call Sara Little at 703-527-4111 for information on these and other special events.

Wellspring is thoughtful, prayerful, justice-seeking, and open and affirming to seekers of all backgrounds. Worship is informal.

Congregation Yad Shalom, located in Centreville, provides a variety of programs in a traditional format with a modern flair. Inquiries about participation in these activities are welcomed by the community.

* Ask about the K–2 Hebrew school for the children. A new format and new classes continue for the winter semester.

* Come along and join the congregation for the annual picnic at Bull Run Regional Park on Sunday, June 10 at 12 p.m.

* Join the congregation for an evening of fun at the Potomac Nationals baseball game on Saturday evening, July 7 at 7 p.m. at Pfizner Stadium in Woodbridge with fireworks after the game.

Temple Beth Torah is a Reform Jewish congregation and member of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) that meets at St. John's Episcopal Church in Centreville. The Children's Ministry at Jubilee Christian Center is having a "Fun Fest Day Camp" for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade (as of Fall 2007). St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Herndon will hold its Vacation Bible School, July 16-20. Children ages 2-1/2 (potty-trained) through rising sixth-graders are invited to attend during the week of July 16-20 from 9:30 a.m. to noon daily. The theme this year will be The Great Bible Reef Dive into God's Word! Cost is $20 per child for the week, with a maximum cost of $50 per family. Help with Hurts, Habits and Hang-Ups — Passion for Community in cooperation with New Life Christian Church is launching a new Recovery Connection Group for people suffering with various addictions and destructive and dysfunctional behaviors. New Life Christian Church is once again launching a Divorce Care Group which will meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 at Westfield High School (child care provided). Divorce Care is a video-based seminar group for people who are experiencing difficulty with their separation or divorce. Centreville United Methodist is hosting DivorceCare, which meets Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. at Centreville UMC. DivorceCare is a 13-week Christ-centered divorce recovery program which walks participants through the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of someone going through separation and divorce. New Life Christian Church is forming a new Grief Share Group for persons who are experiencing the hurt associated with loss of a loved one. The group meets for 12 sessions using a video-based discussion format and is effective in helping survivors deal with the issues faced by persons going through a period of grief.
