2007 Trout Fishing Season Opens in Arlington. 9 a.m. Four Mile Run stream from Bon Air Park south to Barcroft Park. Participants should bring their own bait, pole, and a cooler with ice to store their catch. Anglers over the age of 15 must have a Virginia State Fishing License. A Trout Stamp is not required for this event however, all other State fishing regulations apply. Free.

Stream Clean Up. 9 a.m.-Noon. The Arlington County Park Rangers are calling all volunteers to help clean up our local streams. An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age. Not recommended for children under 6-years-old. Free. To register, 703-525-0168.

Cash Back Event. The Arlington-Fairfax Elks Lodge will be holding its First Annual Cash Back beginning at 5 p.m. Doors will open at 4 p.m. There will be karaoke, dinner and a silent auction. Price of ticket includes dinner. Each ticket costs $25 and will entitle you to a chance to win $500 every 20 minutes starting at 5 p.m. There will be a grand-prize drawing of $4,500.
