Real Estate Notes

Long & Foster Realtors will hold seminars on ÒA Career in Real EstateÓ. They have designed the seminars to address the questions of people who have often thought of going into business for themselves in real estate but do not know how to investigate the Òpros and consÓ. Seminar discussions will be on how to get started in a real estate career, the course requirements, costs involved in training, and the benefits of a real estate career.

The career night seminars are free of charge and open to the public. The seminars for March will be held at the following times and locations:

Ellen Katz, branch manager of Weichert, Realtors' Potomac Office, announced that several sales associates have been honored for their achievements in December.

Michele Weinstein, a member of the Executive's Club, earned the honor of top producer. She led the office in dollar volume, revenue units and sales. Weinstein has been a licensed sales associate since 1998 and is a member of several local REALTOR associations.

Leading the way in listings was President's Club member Pauline Jih, while Chairman of the Board Premiere Club member Helen King topped the branch in listings sold. King has been a licensed real estate agent for 35 years and has earned a GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) designation. She was also named to the Montgomery County Board of Realtors' "Hall of Fame" Lifetime Sales Club.

Agents from the Bethesda Gateway office of Long & Foster Real Estate attended the gala Kennel Club dinner on Jan. 16 in Bethesda. The dinner tops off the year for those agents who have been members of the monthly "Top Dog" club. To earn entry members must have three or more transactions each month for 10 months, or over 33 transactions for the year.

Gordon Harris, branch manager of the Potomac Village Office of Weichert, Realtors, is pleased to announce Courtney Donato was recognized with two regional awards for the month of January. The region includes 23 Weichert offices located throughout Maryland and the District.

Donato earned regional awards in Weichert Family of Companies units and dollar volume, achieved by helping her clients take advantage of Weichert Financial's Gold Services Program.
