Northern Virginia Community College's Loudoun Campus, Waddell Art Gallery, 1000 Harry Flood Byrd Highway, Sterling, presents paintings by Sherry Zvares Sanabria, "Slave Quarters and Other African American Sites," through May 25. <lst>"Exploring Color and Form," drawings, paintings and sculpture by Carmen Barros Howell, will be on exhibit at Gallery 222 in Leesburg, through May 27. <lst>Galilee United Methodist Church will be holding a live art auction at the church, Saturday, May 19. Tickets are $10 per person or $15 per couple and may be purchased for pick-up at the door through the Web site at www.GalileeUMC.org or at the door the evening of the event. The auction of artwork, sports memorabilia, etc., begins at 8 p.m. with an opportunity to preview items from 7–8 p.m. All funds will support the church's missions in Africa, Costa Rica and Tennessee.
