A Day at Clemyjontri Park

The new Clemyjontri Park, near the intersection of Route 123 and Georgetown Pike in McLean, is built with the children with disabilities in mind.

"Clemyjontri is a place where children who use wheelchairs, walkers or braces or who have sensory or developmental disabilities can utilize the play equipment, often without leaving their support devices behind," Clemyjontri Park Web site states.

Although Clemyjontri Park was designed for children with disabilities, the park is open to all children. After all, "it is a playground where children of all abilities can play together."
