Great Falls BB&T Bank Robbed

On Friday morning, Nov. 16, at approximately 9:25 a.m., a 31-year-old Sterling woman was robbed while working at her job as a teller at BB&T Bank in Great Falls. Fairfax County Police responded after a hold-up alarm was activated at the bank, which is located at 9915 Georgetown Pike in the Great Falls Village Center. According to police, a man entered the bank, displayed a knife and demanded money. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen and the suspect fled. Police said there were no injuries. The suspect was described as wearing a mask, khaki jacket, cream pants and gloves. He was about 6 feet tall with an average build.
