Children's book author Jerry Pallotta was a huge hit, last Thursday, Nov. 15, at Colin Powell Elementary. Students at all grade levels roared with laughter at his funny stories, while also learning a thing or two about the ocean, fish, birds and bugs. He gave four, different presentations, geared to the students' particular grade levels. He also talked about how he writes books and encouraged the children to write, too.
