In honor of 1st LT Jeffrey J. Kaylor, a 1997 graduate of Centreville High who was killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom, several of his friends and family are participating in the annual Army 10-Miler Run this Sunday, Oct. 7 in the District. Last year, two $1,000 scholarships were awarded to two graduating Centreville students in Jeff's honor. Donations and run scholarships will be available inside the entry gate at the Centreville High home football game on Friday, Oct. 5.
