Joe Reeder details the history of some of the pieces for sale on Saturday morning.

Saturday morning, the gates opened up to the courtyard on the corner of Prince and St. Asaph Streets for Joe Reeder’s semi-annual yard sale. Friends and neighbors had worked through the week setting up. The grass was laid out with antique carpets upon which cane chairs, garden chairs, garden benches, ornaments, architectural salvage and tools filled the yard. Hooked rugs hung on the garage door as well as the wall of the 18th century farmhouse that holds the original footprint of the historic residence. Reeder collects objects of interest, historical in nature and offers most for sale on the garden tour weekends of April and late September.
