Rhythm, Rhyme & Tune Time, Thursday, Sept. 4-Oct. 9, at 10 a.m., Sterling Library, 120 Enterprise St. Sing, chant, play instruments and move creatively as a way to explore the sounds, rhythms and patterns that make up language. Babygarten, an informational program for infants and their parents or caregivers. Classes focus on how nursery rhymes, songs and books can enrich a child's life from the very beginning and provide them with a foundation for the future. Sponsored by the Loudoun Library Foundation Inc., and branch advisory boards. Each Babygarten session lasts for six weeks. Recommended for children from birth through 18 months with their parent or caregiver.

The 24th Citizen's Police Academy will begin Tuesday, Sept. 23. The free sessions will be held one evening per week for 11-weeks and each session will be two hours in length, 7-9:30 p.m. All classes will be held at the Sheriff's Office Administration Building in Leesburg with the exception of the firearms training session, which will be held at the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office firearm's range located off of Route 50, in the Chantilly area.

Sheriff's Office personnel will conduct the training classes, providing an overview of all the aspects of law enforcement within the agency. Members of the class may also have the option of participating in a ride-a-long with a deputy after completing the academy.
