Herndon Police

The Herndon Police Station is located at 397 Herndon Parkway. Chief of Police is Toussaint E. Summers, Jr. There are currently 58 members of police force based out of the station. The station participates in community events and national causes like the 9-11 Foundation and Special Olympics. In August is the National Night Out. The station also offers several services to residence and small businesses through a substation that works with the Neighborhood Resource Center. The police also provide a courtesy check of houses of residents who are on vacation as long as they are informed ahead of time.
