The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors encourages residents to become actively involved in their county government. There are currently vacancies for representatives from all of Loudoun County’s election districts on the county and regional advisory boards, commissions and committees. The Heritage Farm Museum located in Claude Moore Park in Sterling seeks volunteers to serve as program assistants and instructors programs in their new interactive exhibit hall. Loudoun Volunteer Services is seeking volunteers to assist in emergencies. In the event of an emergency, Loudoun Volunteer Services is prepared to assist the Loudoun County Office of Emergency Management by coordinating volunteers. These are volunteers who are not currently affiliated with an organization and who are willing to assist with the emergency. Training will be conducted in February.
