Phyllis Kelley, regent of the Kate Waller Barrett Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, NSDAR, announced that three area students in the JR ROTC programs at Hayfield Secondary and Mt. Vernon High Schools were awarded medals by the Chapter.
