Yvonne de Vilar Scientific Skin Care, Ltd. Salon and School is now providing a full-time accelerated Basic Esthetics Course. This course allows students to complete all 600 hours needed for a Basic Esthetics License in either Maryland or Virginia in only three months. This accelerated course also means that there will be more days of student treatments available at discounted prices. Two sessions of the course will begin May 19, graduating Aug. 13, and Sept. 2, graduating Dec. 17. Classes meet Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-8 p.m. with hour-long breaks for lunch and dinner. What You Need to Know about Long Term Care: a workshop teaches about Long Term health care, how much it costs and concerns about it. Students will learn how to preserve independence, protect assets and make sure they receive needed health care. Students will receive a workbook and other relevant study materials along with the educational presentation.
