The Godspeed, a recreation of one of the ships that landed in Virginia in 1607 visited the port of Alexandria last week. The Godspeed was recreated for the 2006 Jamestown celebrations. Built by Rockport Marine in Rockport, Maine, it was completed in April of 2006 and arrived at the Jamestown Settlement on May 7, 2006.
