Celebrate Recovery, the Christian-based recovery program sponsored by Rick Warren's Saddleback Church, will meet Wednesdays, from 7-8 p.m., beginning Oct. 1, at Ashburn Presbyterian Church, 20962 Ashburn Road in Ashburn. This program includes support for "hurts, hang-ups and habits" such as chemical addiction, co-dependency, domestic violence, sexual addiction, gambling addiction, food addiction, divorce, and grief. The Greater Chesapeake and Potomac Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross is seeking blood donations, especially types O and B blood. Donors must be generally in good health; be at least 17 years old; weigh no less than 110 pounds; have not received a tattoo within the past year; and have not donated whole blood within the past 56 days.
