Students from Kenmore Middle School are exhibiting their artwork at The Phillips Collection Art Gallery in Washington, D.C. The student artwork included in the exhibit was inspired by The Phillips Collection's current exhibition, “Christo and Jeanne Claude: Over the River, a Work in Progress.” The community celebration is open to the public and the student exhibit can be viewed through March 8. Paintings and drawings of Teresa Oaxaca will be on display at the Arlington Central Library, 1015 N. Quincy St., from Feb. 23 to March 30. Oaxaca, a 2005 graduate of H-B Woodlawn in Arlington, is a classically-trained realist painter who studied in Italy and Norway.
