Samantha Elena Freed and Noah Benjamin Bolton were married, surrounded by loving family and friends, in Baltimore, Md., on Dec. 21, 2008. Joshua Bolton, the groom’s brother, a student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gloria Freed of Columbia, Md., and the late Jerome Freed. She is also the granddaughter of the late Molly and Samuel Freed, and Helen and Alexander Huditean. The groom is the son of Janet and Vade Bolton of Reston, and the grandson of Frances and Seymour Berg of Plainview, N.Y., and the late Juanita and Vade Bolton, Sr.

Freed earned her undergraduate degree in medical ethics from Tulane University and her juris doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore. She is an associate at the law firm of Snook and Haughey in Charlottesville, Va., where the couple currently reside with their dog, Steve.

Bolton’s undergraduate degree in industrial design was earned at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y. He is a 2009 candidate for the master’s in architecture at the University of Virginia where he is a Kenan Fellow.
