The annual New Balance Girls on the Run of NOVA 5K presented by ING Financial Services takes place Saturday, May 16, at 7:30 a.m., at Fair Oaks Mall. Girls on the Run of NOVA is a non-profit organization that offers learning programs for girls 8-12. The program combines training for a 3.1-mile running event with self-esteem enhancing workouts.
